How AI Is Helping Me with My Craft Art

My journey into jewelry making became truly serious after a trip to Santa Fe. Surrounded by its beautiful landscapes and inspiring art scene, I felt a deep pull to create, to give myself fully to something beautiful and meaningful.
When I came back home, I decided to make a few pieces and show them to family and close friends. To my surprise, they loved them! That gave me the motivation to keep going, and that’s when I turned to AI for a little help.

At first, I needed a name for my new venture. I had a few ideas I liked, but I asked AI for more suggestions and even asked it to rate them based on how appealing they might be to the public. It not only gave me creative ideas but also let me know which names were already in use. In the end, I chose one that felt right to me, and not necessarily the “top-rated” one!
Next came the mission statement; something that could express the heart and purpose behind my art. I wrote down what I believed represented my creative vision: the kind of jewelry I wanted to make, why it mattered to me, and how I wanted people to feel when they wore it. AI helped me refine my words, suggesting beautiful phrases for a slogan and even generating logo ideas to match my style.
Then came the website. AI suggested affordable platforms and helped me craft text for the homepage. In less than ten hours, my site was live; complete with warm text, elegant background images, and creative descriptions for each jewelry piece. All I had to do was upload my photos and, "voilà", a real, professional-looking website was live!
I’ve even used AI for something fun: adding my jewelry to model photos. For example, I’ll upload a photo of my earrings and ask AI to place them on “a blonde woman in her thirties,” and within moments, I have a beautiful image of a model wearing my dangle blue earrings. It’s so nice to see my creations come to life that way!
AI continues to be part of my day to day process. I use it to explore low-cost ways to advertise, discover local markets, and brainstorm new ideas for promoting my work. It’s like having a virtual creative partner who’s always there to help.
Could I have done all of this without AI? Yes, for sure, but why say no to a little extra help, especially when it saves time, sparks ideas, and makes the journey easier and more fun?
For me, AI hasn’t replaced creativity, it’s just made it easier to bring ideas to life.
