Why a Hobby?

Sometimes people ask me why I decided to start a hobby now, and especially something so different from what I’ve always done. The truth is that after more than 20 years working in technology, mostly in sales, I felt like something was missing. I enjoy the technical side, but sales never really hooked me… the processes drag on forever, deals often don’t close, and you rarely get to see a final result.

With this new project of making garments, it’s a completely different story. Every piece I finish carries a little part of me, and the satisfaction it gives me is hard to put into words. It fills me with energy, motivates me, and makes me happy to be creating something with my own hands.

More than just a hobby, I see it as a gift I’m giving myself at this stage of my life.
