We Love our Pets

Choosing to share our lives with pets is a decision many of us gladly make, even though it comes with meaningful changes. Having a pet means committing to proper medical care, good nutrition, and sometimes arranging a sitter when we need to be away for a night or a few days. Despite these added responsibilities, we welcome pets into our homes because they become true members of our families, and we adore them.
I still remember calling my little cat the “queen of the house,” receiving genuine royal treatment from her "lacayos", my husband and I.

Recently, I’ve been wearing a necklace I made featuring a cat’s face and the letter “S” for Sombra, in honor of my
kitty. I’ve received many compliments, not only for how the piece looks, but also because it represents a cat. If you’re a cat person, you instantly admire, or at least deeply appreciate, the meaning behind it.
I’ve realized that wearing this necklace is a way of telling the world: I love my pet, and I’m proud of it.
Jewelry can be more than an accessory, it can be a quiet declaration of love for those who make our lives warmer, happier, and full.
