The first time I saw sea glass, I fell in love instantly

I was with my husband, walking through shops during the holidays, when I saw a Christmas tree made entirely of frosted glass in different shades of blue and green. The pieces looked soft, luminous, and mysterious. I later learned it was sea glass. I couldn’t stop looking at it. There was something calming and magical about those colors, like holding a piece of the sea in your hands.
Not long after, I bought a few pieces. That simple moment became the beginning of my journey, transforming sea glass into jewelry that carries the same feeling I experienced that day.
What is sea glass?
Sea glass begins as ordinary glass, bottles, jars, or glass objects, that end up in the ocean. Over many years, the waves, sand, and saltwater naturally tumble and polish the sharp edges, turning it into smooth, frosted, gem-like pieces. Each fragment is shaped by time and nature. No two pieces are ever exactly alike.
Why are people drawn to sea glass?
Sea glass carries a story. It represents transformation, something once broken becoming beautiful again. Its soft matte texture, ocean colors, and organic shapes feel calming and nostalgic. Many people are attracted to it because it connects them to the sea, to memories of beaches, and to the peaceful rhythm of waves.
When I design with sea glass, I am not just making jewelry. I am transforming a memory of the ocean, in something beautiful to wear.
