Meaningful opportunity

I just returned from a three-day visit to my company headquarters in Dallas. I travel there every six to eight weeks, and I always enjoy the change in routine, as well as the chance to be around colleagues, something I don’t get when working from home.
This visit was especially meaningful. I brought some of my jewelry pieces with me and displayed them on a table that others have used to share their creative hobbies. I wasn’t expecting much, but I was so pleasantly surprised to see several of my male colleagues buying jewelry for their wives or daughters. Some took photos and let their wives choose; others picked out pieces themselves and told me they wanted it to be a surprise.
But more than the sales, what truly touched me were the conversations that unfolded. I got to know my colleagues in a way that wouldn’t have happened otherwise. Many spoke lovingly about their families, sharing little details about what they thought their loved ones would enjoy. A couple of colleagues I had never spoken to before even opened up about how they also turn to creative hobbies to manage stress, just like I do with jewelry.
At this stage of my life, when I value genuine connection more than ever, this experience reminded me that the joy of what I do goes far beyond selling. This was, without a doubt, the most meaningful “jewelry sales” experience I’ve had.
Here a video of one of last pieces, that I worned during my time in Dallas and many compliments..enjoy it
