I got another order…yay!

I went several days without writing, and today I realized how much I needed it. This afternoon was already a good one, lunch with my husband, followed by a stop at one of our local breweries where a Zydeco band was celebrating Mardi Gras. Then, as if to top it all off, I received an Etsy order that instantly brightened my day.

Receiving an order is always exciting, and lately they’ve been coming a bit more frequently. But what I treasure most is the connection with the buyer , whether it’s a husband choosing a gift for his wife or a woman selecting a piece just for herself. With every order, I try to honor that connection by including a personal note, thanking them for supporting my small business and welcoming them into this shared journey.

Yesterday I also received another lovely review. All of my reviews so far have been five stars, but what touches me most is when buyers take the time to write meaningful words. Those messages stay with me.

I feel I’ve entered a new stage in my creative journey, one that feels calmer, less stressful, and far more rewarding. Making pieces now comes from a place of serenity, and I’m deeply grateful for where this path is leading.
