What to do when Creativity Feels off

Lately, I’ve been a little quiet. Not because I don’t have ideas… but because I have too many, and none of them feel ready yet. I’m learning that even creativity needs space to breathe.
After doing about 240 pieces in 9 months (about 6 pieces a week), it feels strange than I didn't finish any, in the last week. Maybe this pause is part of the process too.
Some people say this phase often comes right before a new wave of ideas. And they say, “Don’t fight it; just stay close to your materials, your thoughts, your quiet.”
Work has been demanding lately, and I don’t want to add more pressure by forcing myself into jewelry projects. But the truth is, my heart is with my pieces, and I miss them. I find myself walking into my craft room several times a day, as if I’m about to start something… and then I leave. It’s a strange feeling, almost unsettling.
Maybe what I really need is to step back for a bit. In 18 days, we’ll be traveling to Puerto Rico to catch a Caribbean cruise, and I can already feel how much I need that kind of rest. I’m truly looking forward to it.
