Spending Time by the Sea

Maybe it’s because when I was a little girl my parents introduced me to the beach, but I can hardly imagine that there are people who have never seen the ocean, and yet, there are.
But once you see it, once you stand before that endless horizon, you feel something change. You become attached to it.
You always want to return.
What makes the sea so special? I don’t remember the exact first moment I saw it, but I remember the feeling every time I visit the beach. The ocean feels immense and grand, powerful and alive. Its vastness inspires both respect and awesome, a quiet reminder of the beauty and strength of nature.
Sea glass brings me back to that place. Each piece carries the spirit of the shoreline, the waves, the shells, the white sand warmed by the sun.
Sometimes I plan to create jewelry using only stones from the earth. Yet almost every time, I end up adding at least one piece of sea glass or a pearl. Somehow they find their way into the design, bringing with them the feeling of the sea and the quiet beauty of the shore.
